Okay that’s maybe not what you thought when you first saw this painting. Pizza? Why? And you’re right. Really this painting is about community and finding community, building it and sustaining it. Because friends, family and neighbors are what bring us together.
But let’s be real - who doesn’t love pizza? It’s probably one of my two favorite foods out there. And funny enough I don’t usually share it. Also, I'm vegetarian and like my pizza without cheese so, ya know, people don't necessarily want a slice of mine. But we still have a full table of friends and coworkers hanging out and having fun.
