Powerlines are everywhere in my neighborhood. Yours probably too. They build a web of lines all around us. So starting this painting with just one conductor - as I initially did - really didn’t make sense. I needed to capture more of them, and the web they are building.
Then if you’re like me you’ll think “Oh damn! I do the same thing in life every day!” - chasing one thought, problem and solution at a time - finding the things that connect them all and then make sense of it. So I love looking at Powerlines and seeing my mind become reality on the canvas in a totally abstract way.
People inspired by the power that their mind holds and its ability to constantly turn a total mess into organized chaos.
Acrylic paint on canvas.
Dimensions: 24” × 36”
