About this painting
Creating this piece was a wonderful experience in blending music with painting. I was introduced to the album Tether by Annahstasia and with the first sounds of Be Kind this painting just started to come together. The ebbs and flows of the shapes and colors are the extension of me swaying while painting. Too sappy? Well it kinda was. I found the zone every time I listened to the music and stepped back in front of the canvas. Taping, cutting, painting, over and over until it was done :-)
